สารแสดงความเสียใจต่อเหตุการณ์แผ่นดินไหวในนิวซีแลนด์
ตามที่ได้เกิดเหตุการณ์แผ่นดินไหวระดับรุนแรงขนาด 6.3 ริกเตอร์ บริเวณเมืองไคร้สต์เชิร์ช เมื่อวันที่ 22กุมภาพันธ์ 2554 เวลา 12.51 น. ทำให้อาคารบ้านเรือนพังเสียหาย และมีผู้เสียชีวิตและบาดเจ็บจากเหตุการณ์ดังกล่าว นั้น
ในการนี้ นายอภิสิทธิ์ เวชชาชีวะ นายกรัฐมนตรี นายกษิต ภิรมย์ รัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงการต่างประเทศ และนายธีรกุล นิยม ปลัดกระทรวงการต่างประเทศ ได้มีข้อความแสดงความเสียใจต่อความสูญเสียดังกล่าวไปยังนายกรัฐมนตรีนิวซีแลนด์ รัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงการต่างประเทศนิวซีแลนด์ และปลัดกระทรวงการต่างประเทศนิวซีแลนด์ ตามลำดับ ดังนี้
1. สารแสดงความเสียใจของนายกรัฐมนตรีถึงนายกรัฐมนตรีนิวซีแลนด์

Excellency,
On behalf of the Royal Thai Government and people of Thailand, I would like to extend my heartfelt condolences and sincere sympathy to all New Zealanders affected by the earthquake which struck the city of Christchurch and surrounding areas in the early afternoon of 22 February 2011. We are deeply grieved by the continuing rise in death toll and number of those injured. Our thoughts and prayers are with your people during this difficult time.
Your Excellency’s dedication to promptly respond and effectively control the situation over the past earthquake incident in the very same areas last year has been evident. Thailand is truly confident that New Zealand’s experience and preparedness in disaster management will bring rapid recovery to the affected areas and its people. Nevertheless, in this hour of tragedy and loss, Thailand stands ready to provide New Zealander friends with assistance and support.
Accept, Excellency, the renewed assurances of my highest consideration.

It is with profound sadness to learn that Chirstchurch and its surrounding areas were again struck by a powerful earthquake, causing loss of lives and massive damage to properties.
I would like to extend my sincere condolences and sincere sympathy to those who lost their loved ones in this disaster and hope their livelihood will be soon restored to normalcy. The Royal Thai Government stands ready to provide any assistance we can to New Zealand through close coordination between our authorities concerned. Our thoughts and prayer are with all New Zealanders.

I have learned with deep sadness of the most recent earthquake incident that has caused tragic loss of lives and casualties as well as serious damages to properties in the city of Christchurch and nearby areas.
In this time of grief, I wish to extend my sincere sympathy to the bereaved families of the victims in this tragic incident. My heart also goes to those injured and I wish them rapid recovery. I am certain that with resilience and strong spirit of solidarity for which the New Zealanders are known for, the affected areas will soon be rehabilitated and restored.
