สารแสดงความเสียใจต่อเหตุการณ์อุทกภัยในรัฐควีนส์แลนด์ของออสเตรเลีย
ตามที่ได้เกิดพายุฝนตกหนักในรัฐควีนส์แลนด์ของประเทศออสเตรเลียอย่างต่อเนื่อง จนทำให้เกิดเหตุอุทกภัย ซึ่งเป็นปรากฏการณ์ที่รุนแรงที่สุดนับตั้งแต่ พ.ศ. 2516 ส่งผลให้ประชาชนเป็นจำนวนมากต้องอพยพออกจากบ้านพักชั่วคราว รวมถึงมีผู้เสียชีวิตด้วย นั้น
ในการนี้ นายอภิสิทธิ์ เวชชาชีวะ นายกรัฐมนตรี และนายกษิต ภิรมย์ รัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงการต่างประเทศ ได้มีสารแสดงความเสียใจต่อความสูญเสียดังกล่าวไปยังนายกรัฐมนตรีออสเตรเลียและมุขมนตรีรัฐควีนส์แลนด์ ตามลำดับ ดังนี้

ตามที่ได้เกิดพายุฝนตกหนักในรัฐควีนส์แลนด์ของประเทศออสเตรเลียอย่างต่อเนื่อง จนทำให้เกิดเหตุอุทกภัย ซึ่งเป็นปรากฏการณ์ที่รุนแรงที่สุดนับตั้งแต่ พ.ศ. 2516 ส่งผลให้ประชาชนเป็นจำนวนมากต้องอพยพออกจากบ้านพักชั่วคราว รวมถึงมีผู้เสียชีวิตด้วย นั้น
ในการนี้ นายอภิสิทธิ์ เวชชาชีวะ นายกรัฐมนตรี และนายกษิต ภิรมย์ รัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงการต่างประเทศ ได้มีสารแสดงความเสียใจต่อความสูญเสียดังกล่าวไปยังนายกรัฐมนตรีออสเตรเลียและมุขมนตรีรัฐควีนส์แลนด์ ตามลำดับ ดังนี้

I am deeply saddened upon learning of the flood disaster in the state of Queensland that has caused tragic loss of lives and extensive damage throughout the state including the city of Brisbane.
I wish to convey our heartfelt condolences to you and, through you, to the bereaved families of the victims of this natural disaster and to the people of Australia. The Royal Thai Government stands ready to provide any assistance we can to Australia as close friends do. Our thoughts and prayers remain with you and the Australian people during this difficult time.
Accept, Excellency, the renewed assurances of my highest consideration.

I have learnt with deepest sorrow of the flood disaster that has led to tragic loss of lives and widespread destruction in the state of Queensland including your electorate, Griffith.
I would like to take this opportunity to extend to you and, through you, to the people of Queensland our heartfelt condolences and sympathy for this unfortunate calamity. The Royal Thai Government stands ready to provide support and any possible assistance to the people of Queensland.
