สารแสดงความเสียใจต่อเหตุการณ์น้ำท่วมและดินถล่มที่บราซิล
ตามที่ได้มีฝนตกอย่างต่อเนื่องในช่วงสัปดาห์ที่ผ่านมาในภูมิภาคแถบภูเขาของรัฐริโอ เดอจาเนโร ส่งผลให้เกิดน้ำท่วมและแผ่นดินถล่มครั้งใหญ่ จนเป็นเหตุให้มีผู้เสียชีวิตและได้รับบาดเจ็บเป็นจำนวนมาก นั้น
ในการนี้ นายอภิสิทธิ์ เวชชาชีวะ นายกรัฐมนตรี ได้มีสารแสดงความเสียใจต่อความสูญเสียดังกล่าวไปยังนาง Dilma Rousseff ประธานาธิบดีสหพันธ์สาธารณรัฐบราซิล ดังนี้

Excellency,
It is with profound sadness that I have learnt of the recent massive scale of mudslide and flood that have caused a terrible loss of lives and tremendous damage to properties in the mountainous region of State of Rio de Janeiro of Brazil.
On behalf of the Government and people of Thailand, I wish to extend my sincere sympathy and condolences to Your Excellency and, through you, to the bereaved families of those who were affected by this disaster. I firmly believe that, under your able guidedance and the solidarity of the people of Brazil, the country will overcome and recovery from this period of difficulties very soon.
